In class we have been writing down four vocabulary's that makes other words sound interesting: for example, one of my words was Nervous and with my word or vocabulary, we had to found other words that will make it sound interesting but still has to be refer to the word that i picked which was nervous,(eg Nervous: Anxious, stressed, shaky, fussy, jumpy, afraid, annoyed and shy.
I am a year 8 student at St. Pius X Catholic School in Auckland, New Zealand. I am in Room 7 and my teachers are Mrs Tui and Mrs Lauchlan.

learn: to do a descriptive writing
It was the 16th of September the 60th Anniversary of my school and as i walked up the stage, i was nervous but at the same time excited, for this reason is because before going on stage, my hands started to get sweaty and i couldn’t stop shaking and touching my costume. The reason why i was excited at the same time was because, i knew that my group will do really well because we have practice for 2 to 3 weeks just to get this performance prepared for this special day, the audience was staring at us and all i could hear from the crowd was them screaming “whooooo”.
It wasn’t at the end when people stood up and danced to our last action song. This was my favourite highlight because i got the opportunity to perform with my Tongan group on stage.

During RE, we have been learning about the Sacrament and writing examples of times we showed it. for example i wrote: i see God everywhere especially when i'm helping others who are in need, or taking care of people who are younger than me and older than me.

In tech i have been finishing of colouring and drawing my name, i wrote my one in bubble writing and then at the end, we had to colour the letters and the background in, this was a fun task because we got to use our imagination.

Narrative writing
Learn: We are learning to pre assess our writing
It was rainy day in Auckland and Daniel was slowly driving to work on his enormous yellow truck., it started to get thundery when he was going up to Glen Innes his huge window wipers didn’t work at that time, so everything started to get blurry for him.
Daniel was quickly driving in zigzags around Glen Innes, everyone was staring at him and it came to a point that Daniel had a car accident, when he had the accident he didn’t know that the cabbage at the back of his truck fell out and everyone who watched him by the footpath saw the cabbages flowing down the road, luckily he made it out alive, everyone around Daniel was scared and worried, there was other people who was screaming “ look at those cabbage”, Daniel was angry because he knew that had to pick it up,there was more than 100 cabbage so it was really hard for him to pick it all up, it wasn’t at the end when everyone who was watching Daniel kindly helped him pick up all the cabbage and when they finished Daniel returned the cabbage to the shop.
